The Lost Ship

"The Captain looks around. He can see nobody. He can see nothing."(p.15) I read to end of this book, but I can't understand the story. Did the Captain was treated or time and space change...? I feel little fear. I would like to survey this story's mean. Stephen Colbourn (1989).The Lost Ship.Macmillan Heinemann

A Picture to Remember

Sarah Scott - Malden,(1999).A Picture to Remember.Cambridge university press "Cristina could see the other man, the man without the tattoo of a poppy, sitting in the police car."(p.46) Cristina was just a staff of art museum. However Cristina's life changed since  she saw a bank robbery. If I were her, I felt fear very much. I relieved that the bank robbery was arrested by police man.
